Guild Hall Empty Guild Hall

It's one of the major parts of our guild and is the main thing that got me into Exalt, which is why it's quite tragic a lot of rooms have not been set foot in so much, mainly the upper floors.
We should ideally spark the use of the hall just for sociability even as all the hall appears to be doing at the moment is giving us an upkeep and making rookies go "Ooo, swaggerous hall, I want to join"
There were suggestions including new filler rooms (Rooms such as the shield maze, the moorcroft themed room or the caffe) which I would be up to, I would even be happy to spend some time giving the entire hall a refurbish. A raised concern by some was spending treasury on furniture, but in my case, if I wanted to redesign something like this then I would work as best as I could with the current furniture I had access to before even considering getting more (If I were to run out of an item I needed, I would go back to a room that has it, mix it up a little to free what I needed and add it to the other area)

Some filler rooms I would suggest, one which got my attention was a Casino themed double room, which would be good opposed to the Shield maze, and could also spark a social system for some small mini games we could generate somehow, how I'm not sure though. Another room could be some kind of ceremonial room, as this would not need a lot of furniture, mainly the Shield Stands we have so many of and could look a really nice addition to the hall while leaving items to be used elsewhere. Some kind of bunker room such as the Romeo and Juliet rooms we have are a must I say, making simple bedroom like rooms would be simple. Of course, I say the Caffe is a must, perhaps to take up two rooms we could have the neighbouring one being a kitchen of sorts (Only problem is we have no two rooms connected on the lower floors that aren't occupied by a function room)
I also think we could probably use those balcony areas better than we currently do, the placement of the trophy statues does work best for them, but the other half of them could be used for simple open rooms, like lounge areas, small garden sections, whatever we could make out of the treasuries contents
Of course we can go through all the possible ideas before we decide to make anything permanent

There was also talk about allowing the veterans to change things around with less hassle than we currently have, I'm for this as the hall is for all of us, though one problem I may find with this is if we end up having knights constantly changing rooms, then it could cause conflict between knights, so we'd have to lay down some obligations or guidelines to follow with this

Our guild upkeep is now 30K and a full size guild hall only has a 72K upkeep. If desired we can expand with reckless abandon.

Alright, So I've got thoughts. Here we go. As far as the guild hall goes, I am completely open and supportive of allowing more free editing and updating of the GH. The only issue i could see is multiple people trying to work on the same room. The solution I could think of this would be for a person to actually label a room with their name in edit mode, as if to say "I'm working here right now, I'd appreciate it if you'd leave it be!" and I'd like to think that our veterans wouldn't be too trolly about it. And then upon publishing, it would of course get a proper room name. With the lower upkeep costs, I see no reason for not considering expansion.

Also, I'm pretty sure, but not completely, that veterans can't actually buy furniture? (through a quick login, i can't even access the store thinger) So vets buying with guild treasury appears to be a nonissue. I don't know if this issue came up here, but i think I recall seeing it brought up.
